Field Trip: Birding for Kids at Benicia State ParkDate: Sunday May 15, 2022Time: 9:00 AMLouisa Liu, our NSAS college intern, will lead a Birding for Kids Field Trip to Benicia State Park on Sunday, May 15th beginning at 9:00 a.m. (NSAS Event) Details:Leader: Louisa Liu Description: Louisa will be leading a fun-filled Beginning Bird Walk for Kids ages 7 - 15 and their parents to look for birds along the Benicia State Park Nature Trail. The Walk will start at 9:00 am and go until 11:00 a.m. They hope to identify a variety of Marsh and Woodland birds including Snowy & Great Egrets, Nuttall's Woodpeckers, Tree Swallows, Song Sparrows, and California Towhees on this morning walk at one of Benicia's wonderful birding spots. Directions: Participants should meet at the Benicia State Park East Parking lot near the corner of Military West & West K Street.
