Field Trip: Beginning Bird Walk for Kids

Tammy Saunders will be leading a fun-filled Beginning Bird Walk for Kids on Saturday, February 26th at 9:30 a.m. at Trancas Crossing Park. This walk is designed for students aged 7 - 14 and their parents. Please preregister with Tammy at nsasedcoordinator@gmail.com . (NSAS Event)

Description: Trancas Crossing Park has a wonderful assortment of native birds ranging from Kingfishers flying up and down the Napa River, to Bluebirds and Tree Swallows hovering over the grassy fields, to Oak Titmice, Stellar's Jays, and Nuttall's Woodpeckers foraging in the Oaks. Join Tammy for a fun morning of Bird Watching. The walk will start at 9:30 at the entrance road to the Park at the top of the hill next to the restrooms.

Directions: Trancas Crossing Park is located at 640 Trancas Street, just North of the intersection of Trancas Street and Old Soscol Way. Parking is available of the short frontage road located behind the
