Our 1st Morning Weekly Bird Walk of the Fall, led by Andrew Ford, will take place on September 11th at the Putah Creek River Reserve Trail beginning at 8:00 a.m. (NSAS Event)

Description: The walk will follow the Putah Creek Reserve Trail which is overseen by UC Davis and a wonderful Riparian Habitat that attracts migrating warblers, tanagers, grosbeaks and other passerines along a 1 1/2 mile stretch of the creek. We will begin at the Parking Lot which is located at the Intersection of Brooks Rd. and Levee Rd. in Davis, CA.
Directions: Intersection of Brooks Rd. and Levee Rd. Davis, CA.: From Napa, Vallejo and Benicia: Head East on Highway 80 approximately 31 miles from the Highway 680/80 Junction. Take exit 70 onto HWY 113 North toward Woodland. Proceed on HWY 113 for 1.4 miles. Take Exit 27 for Hutchison Drive / UC Davis. Turn Left on Hutchison Drive and proceed for 1000 yards. Go straight past the round-about toward Hutchison Dr./ Airport. At the T turn left on Campbell Rd. Take Campbell Rd and Garrod Dr to Brooks Rd approximately 1.5 miles to the Reserve Parking Lot at the junction of Brooks Rd with Levee Rd.
