Description: H2O Superheroes is a new program at the Napa County Library. Through this program, the Library is encouraging Nature lovers to come together to learn about and create positive experiences along the Napa Valley river and its environments. You can also register through their website and collect badges for H20 Superhero activities that you have completed!
We will practice identifying birds and discuss their migration patterns, explain how water conservation benefits wildlife, and learn about the importance of how the health of the river and coastal ecosystems directly affect the well-being of bird life. The hope is that we will help support and foster a new generation of bird conservationists. Additional birding kits will be available for library check out.
Please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water and binoculars if you have them. Dressing in layers, and insect repellent are recommended.
Directions: From Napa, drive towards American Canyon, make a right at Napa Junction Road, a left Theresa, and a right at Eucalyptus Drive. Drive 1.3 miles to the parking lot at the wetlands. Bathroom, drinking water, and picnic tables available. Parking is free.
