Field Trip: Beginning Bird Identification & Walk at American Canyon Wetlands

Walks and workshops aimed at Beginning Birders are held twice a month on Saturdays. All workshops begin at 9am, followed by bird walks at 9:30am until noon. (NSAS Event)

Description: How do the experts tell all the different species apart? Hear tips for finding and identifying typical California birds, including how to identify a bird just from his silhouette!

The workshop will start at 9:00a.m. followed by a walk at 9:30 a.m. until noon. Walks are appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring binoculars if you have them and water.

Directions: Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the American Canyon Wetlands parking lot on the corner of Wetlands Edge Road and Eucalyptus Drive.
