Time: 8:00 AM

Join us for bi-weekly Tuesday morning bird walks in Napa and Solano Counties. (NSAS Event)

Details:

Leaders: Steve Gerstle and Wendy Schackwitz

Fall is a great time for shorebirds, and American Canyon Wetlands is one of the best places to see them. The walk is flat and on smooth grade.

We will be meeting at Sweeney's in Napa at 8:00 am, and arrive at the wetlands at about 8:30. American Canyon Wetlands parking area is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Wetlands Edge Rd. and Eucalyptus Drive in American Canyon. Click here for a map showing the location.

Tuesday Bird Walks will be led by Steve Gerstle, Wendy Schackwitz or other experienced birders and are usually over by noon. The destination for each walk is usually not decided until about 2 days before the walk, when it is emailed to those signed up to receive NSAS field trip announcements.
