Field Trip: Bodega BayDate: Friday September 12, 2014Time: 7:15 AMWeekly Friday trip (NSAS Event) Details:Leader: Murray Berner Description: Bodega Harbor and the Headlands this week. We'll look at Porto Bodega for Whimbrel and Ruddy Turnstone, Bodega Head for alcids, jaegers, oystercatcher and Surfbird. The harbor and probably Doran for shorebirds. Owl Canyon and Hole in the Head for unusual songbirds. Blackburnian Warbler and Gray Catbird are recent rarities. Napa carpool leaves from the east side of Sweeney's sport shop in Riverpark shopping center at 7:15 am. On your own, be at the Tides parking lot at 8:30 am (The Inn at the Tides - 800 Highway One).
