Description: Have you heard of owling? What about railing? Join Robin Leong for an early morning search for the voices of these elusive and rare residents of American Canyon Wetlands. Probable candidates are Sora, Virginia, Black and California Clapper Rails. Heavy rain cancels.

Meet the group at the parking area at American Canyon Wetlands at 5:30 AM. This outing is scheduled to conclude at around 6:45 AM (sunrise is ~7:00 AM).

Directions: From Vallejo/East Bay/Sonoma/Napa: From Hwy 29, turn west onto American Canyon Rd. Drive to the end and turn right on Wetlands Edge Rd. Drive up Wetlands Edge to the end. Meet in the parking lot to the left where Wetlands Edge & Eucalyptus Dr. From Marin/Sonoma County: Take Hwy 37 eastbound toward Vallejo. Exit Hwy 29. Go north on Hwy 29 towards Napa. Turn left at American Canyon Road. Follow directions above.
