Description: At the risk of repetition, another visit to Hudeman Slough is offered this Friday. It's been interesting out there all winter. Last weekend, Ruff, Golden Eagle and Eurasian Teal were present. We'll walk out the levee as far as need be to see what's around, perhaps a two mile round trip. Napa carpool departs at 8:00 am from east side of Sweeney's in Riverpark shopping center. Riverpark is located off Imola Ave between Jefferson and Coombs. Hudeman is along Ramal Rd in Sonoma Co. From Napa, follow Hwy 12 to Duhig Rd; Duhig becomes Ramal at the Napa-Sonoma Co. line. The Hudeman parking lot is about 1.5 miles west of Skaggs Island Rd. Ramal comes right near the railroad tracks at this point where an open hay barn dominates the landscape.
