Field Trip: Lynch CanyonDate: Friday March 12, 2010Time: 8:00 AMWeekly Friday trip (NSAS Event) Details:Leader: Murray Berner Description: On March 12, we'll check out Lynch Canyon, a Solano Land Trust property and park. An easy walk on a gravel road up to the lake where moorhens and Rock Wrens may be found. Golden eagle and newly arriving songbird migrants may also appear. Steady rain cancels. Neither Murray nor Cheryl will be there, so leave when you're ready. Lynch is located 1.5 miles north of the intersection of American Canyon Rd and I-80. Take the frontage road, McGary, to reach the park entrance. the gate will be opened about 8:15am and closed when the Napa carpool arrives after 8:30.
