Birding in the Winter is very different from the Spring, and it brings with it observations unique to the season. We will look at massive gatherings of cranes, huge sea eagles, fishing owls and a variety of tits and other birds in the forests, marshes and the ocean across Japan. Along the way we will talk a little about Japanese culture and see a few mammals.
