The 20th Annual San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival will be held on Mare Island this year from Friday, February 19, through Sunday, February 21. (NSAS Event)

Details:

This 3-day event celebrates the return of over one million shorebirds and hundreds of thousands of ducks, geese, hawks, songbirds and even monarch butterflies which migrate through or winter in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Join guided birdwatching outings, hikes and tours to discover some of the best wetlands, wildlands, open spaces and historic sites in the Bay Area. The Wildlife Exploration and Birding Expo headquartered on Mare Island in Vallejo returns with exhibits, live bird visits, educational presentations, art and optics vendors, a silent auction and our fabulous art show.

Napa-Solano Audubon will have an exhibit and kids activity at the festival.

On Mare Island, Building 253, Connolly Street, Vallejo, CA. Follow the signs.
