Details:The overarching goal of this festival is to connect nature, culture and community. This year's event is about water in all its dimensions: human and environmental needs, maritime history, recreation, and beauty. This free festival will feature films, speakers, art exhibitions, information booths, and field trips all focused on the importance of water conservation, watershed restoration, aquatic habitats, recreation, and maritime history. Events will take place at various venues in Vallejo. The City of Vallejo sits at the confluence of two rivers and on the edge of hundreds of acres of restored wetlands. The region has a rich maritime history. In this era of climate change and drought, the festival will explore water from a wide range of perspectives.
