Date: Saturday May 03, 2014

Time: 9:00 AM

Join Wendy Schackwitz for a workshop on Nesting, followed by a beginning bird walk in American Canyon Wetlands. (NSAS Event)

Details:

In the Nesting workshop starting at 9:00 a.m., you will learn about the different kinds of nests that birds build. Try your hand at building a nest yourself. Find out about active nests with living birds that you can watch from your computer. Several different types of nests will be available for you to look at up close, and we will watch for more nests on our walk.

The Beginning Birding Walk will follow at 10 a.m. Meet in the American Canyon Wetlands parking lot at Wetlands Edge Road and Eucalyptus Dr. The walks are on flat ground, and appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Bring binoculars, if you have them. Walks end around noon.
