San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival February 8-10th, 2013Napa-Solano Audubon is one of many organizations participating in the 17th annual San Francisco Bay Flyway Festival! We're planning a special line up of events and we hope to see you there! - Not an NSAS Event The Flyway Festival events begin on Friday, Feb. 8, but most of the activities sponsored by NSAS are on Saturday and Sunday. We will have information stations with volunteers to help you at these 2 locations from 9 AM to 4 PM Saturday and 9AM to 3PM Sunday:
We really encourage you to drive out and visit us at the American Canyon Wetlands! The new public trail is a splendid place to take a walk and see lots of birds. Click the image to the left to see a color map of this trail, where we will be setting up observation stations and leading bird walks. Click here for a Google map with instructions to drive to this trail from the main festival building (Bldg.#223, 500 Connolly St. on Mare Island). Here is a schedule of NSAS planned activities. Beginners or children accompanied by an adult will be welcome on all the field trips.
